“From May 31, 2023 – NHF FINANCING FOR LAPAROSCOPIC OVARIAN BIOPSY – APPLIES TO PATIENTS INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT
We are pleased to announce that by letter dated May 22, The National Health Fund, based on the position of the Minister of Health and the National Consultant in the field of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, informed Fertilita about public co-financing of services under our research and development project: “Regeneration of female fertility using ovarian stem cells (OSC).”
According to the information received from the National Health Fund, the financing should cover laparoscopic ovarian biopsy for preserving fertility in cancer women who require surgery and/or chemotherapy, which usually prevents them from having children of their own.
This positive information from the National Health Fund also applies to patients with chronic POF.
